I bought this book when it first came out in the 70's
I was a very sad person. Had no friends that wanted to be around me because I WAS so sad and miserable. The title caught my eye. I bought the book and read it cover to cover. I underlined and wrote notes in margins. I kept the book for years. Then I found someone who needed it as much as I had and gave it away, I have bought several since for the same reason, and continue to give them away. WHY? Because that book changed my life. Exactly what the title says...... what you say is what you get. Scary but true! For example if you say, im so broke, you will be broke, I dont feel like it , well you wont ever feel like doing it. On and on and on....... this book is so great, it makes you really think about the words you have said and say on a regular basis. The exciting part, once you realize what you say and its effects on your life, then you can change it and change what you get in life!

This book is based around the idea of confess God's promises and he will deliver.
Your job as Christians is to trust God, and obey him. Do this and then the things you speak into being will come to pass. This secret of the living God is far more powerful than The Secret.
It took me a while to warm to the author, but once familiar with how he writes I found this an enjoyable and useful book. Most of my Christian life I've not been a Spirit-Filled Christian and so a lot of this way of life is still...more
